Is it possible for a very gentle, extremely comfortable and almost painless exercise, to massively strengthen countless millions of people?
"No Pain No Gain" has been a true statement for about 2500 years, but that is not because it is naturally true, but because the exercises we have been doing are so inefficient that they drive the vast majority of the damaging forces (motion resistance) into our joints and spinal disks, instead of muscles.

It is the healing from this damage to muscles that causes causes them to heal to a stronger state.
But damaged joints struggle to return back to where they were, they do not heal stronger because scar tissue remains on their smooth surfaces which increases friction after it heals. Well over 90% of the pain from exercise is caused by overworking our joints instead of our muscles, because we still have no thought of separating the two.
